Thumbprints
Thumbprints are fun sets of 10/20 questions grouped together by a similar topic or theme. With hundreds of Thumbprints to choose from, this app is just as much fun to play on as it is to connect with people. The more Thumbprints you complete, the more connections you will discover! Thumbprints are made up of a diversity of question types that include ‘Ranking’, ‘Yes or No’, and ‘Would Your Rather?’.
Global Thumbprints
Global Thumbprints include general topics of interest such as sports, music, movies, TV and lifestyle. myfiVers can complete up to 5 Global Thumbprints a day (100 Questions), every day for free!
Premium Thumbprints
Premium Thumbprints are about more specific topics like ‘The Beatles’, ‘80’s Movies’ or ‘Game of Thrones’. Premium Thumbprints can be completed by using in-application currency we call Digits.
Favorite Thumbprints
If you find particular Thumbprints about things you like to nerd out to most, like your favorite band for instance, you can ‘favorite’ those Thumbprints. Once you have labeled certain Thumbprints as Favorites, you can then bring up a myfiVe list of users who answered most like you, but just in those Favorite Thumbprints!
Trending Thumbprints
There will be a visible count of how many myfiVers have completed each Thumbprint. Thumbprints that have been completed by the most users will show up on your homepage as trending. To meet more people, Trending Thumbprints are a great place to start.
Thumbprint Suggestions
New Thumbprints will be added to myfiVe each month. To help grow our Thumbprint library, myfiVers will be encouraged to suggest new Thumbprints about topics they want to answer questions about. If your topic is chosen for a Thumbprint, not only will you get street cred when your username is added to the Thumbprint, but you’ll also be rewarded with some of our in-app currency called Digits which you can use to buy Premium Thumbprints.
Authentic Connections
Finding Your myfiVe
As you use the app and complete each Thumbprint, myfiVe will update it’s calculations to match you with other myfiVers that have answered questions within those new Thumbprints the same way you have. The users with the Top 5 highest connection scores at any given time will be your myfiVe. You can choose between a Global myfiVe to compare yourself to every user globally who is on the app and a Local myfiVe which will only compare you to other myfivers with a certain local radius designated by you. As you and other users complete more Thumbprints, your myfiVe will likely change.
myfiVe Deep DiVe
Once another user is in your myfiVe you can click on their profile to get more clarity on how similar you actually are. You will be able to view the hyfiVes they have earned as well as the top 5 Thumbprints that the two of you matched up most with. You can even compare your specific answers within those Thumbprints to see which questions you answered the same! This makes reaching out easy because you can immediately talk about stuff you know you both like. myfiVe can be used to to make new friends, to network for business, or to find the love of your life.
myfiVe Friends
One of the main purposes of becoming a myfiVe community member, besides the fun of using the app, is to have the ability to find and meet new like minded people in your town and around the world in a safe online environment. We call these people on myfiVe Friends.
Friends in myfiVe are other users that you have determined you want to connect with after reviewing their profile. So you send them a Wave or they send you a Wave, and once you or they accept the sent Wave they become added to your list of Friends and you both now have the ability to message each other back on fourth.
myfiVe Messaging
myfive is the best app in today’s market for meeting new people just like you. Not only does myfiVe’s unique connection method show you the Top 5 users who are most like you, but it also shows you which topics those users answered the same way as you! When you decide to reach out to your new Friend via myfiVe’s messaging platform you know exactly what to talk about. It’s more than an Ice Breaker, it’s an invitation!
“You’re in my Top 5 for people in Chicago! I’m going to be there this weekend. We both answered the same questions about Pizza. Where’s the best place to get a slice?”
“Hey, I saw that we both answered a lot of the same questions in the Thumbprint about the band Phish. Did you get to see them in concert in 2021? By the way, you’re my number 1 in the country!”
“ I just moved to Denver and am looking to meet some people. You’re in my Top 5 and we answered a lot of the same questions about drinking craft beers. Want to grab an IPA at Tivoli Brewing Company this weekend?”

myfiVe+ is our offered Premium Subscription Service.
Joining the myfiVe+ community benefits members with more features so frequent users can get the most value from being on myfiVe:
Unlimited Global Thumbprints! Non subscribers can only answer 5 Thumbprints per day. myfiVe+ subscribers can answer as many as they want.
Enhanced Privacy! All users will have the basic security features but myfiVe+ members will have added security privacy abilities, such as hiding answers to risque Thumbprints that you want to answer, just don’t want everyone to see!
In-application goodies! Gifted in-app currency you can use to unlock Premium Thumbprints.
First look at new features! As we continue to unfold new features to the app in the coming year, myfiVe+ community members will be the first to try them out!
myfiVe Privacy and Safety
Asking great questions is our business. How you answer them is your business. We do not track or sell your data. We only use your data to connect you with other people like you.
Our basic privacy feature will allow users to report and block any inappropriate users within myfiVe.
Along with the basic privacy features myfiVe+ members will also have the option to hide certain Thumbprint answers if they want to.
There will not be any advertisements on our app.
Future myfiVe Features
The initial launch of the myfiVe app scheduled for early Spring 2022 will include all of the above basic features. As our community grows throughout the year we will be releasing new next level features that will maximize the value and utility provided by myfiVe!
Events
Users will be able to create events and connect them to specific Thumbprints of topics that relate to the event. Users will be able to invite friends to participate in their created event as well as RSVP to other created events. You will also be able to see who your Top 5 myfiVe users are that going to any specific event!
Custom Search
Users will also be able to select specific questions from different Thumbprints and view which users they connect to based on those specifically searched for questions.
Custom Thumbprint
Users will be able to select questions from different Thumbprints and save them as a Custom Thumbprint. The user will then be able to share that Custom Thumbprint with their myfiVe friends to see how they all connect to each other.
